Description: Okeechobee County is accepting proposals for qualified contractors for the expansion of electrical service for the Okeechobee County Agri-Civic Center Fairgrounds. The expansion of electrical service will be utilized by various events such as the county fair, bluegrass festivals & concert venues, livestock & equine shows. Bidding firms shall be responsible for all required measurements, labor, equipment, storage, permits and appurtenances necessary for the full completion of the project as described in the engineered plans, scope of work and bid documents contained herein.

THE FOLLOWING LIST OF IMPROVEMENTS ARE UPGRADES AND ADDITIONS TO THE CURRENT ELECTRICAL SYSTEM FOR THE FAIRGROUNDS AT THE AGRI-CIVIC CENTER. THE SPECIFICATIONS OF NEEDS FOR EACH IMPROVEMENT ARE LISTED BELOW AND MUST BE PRICED INDIVIDUALLY TO INCLUDE A LUMP SUM FOR THE TOTAL PROJECT COST.
2) EXISTING 200 AMP SERVICE WILL BE REMOVED AND REPLACED WITH NEW 480 VOLT, 3 PHASE TRANSFORMER THAT WILL FEED A NEW 400 AMP, 3 PHASE, 120/208 VOLT, NEMA 3R PANEL A SHOWN ON SHEET E201. NEW RECEPTACLES MOUNTED AT PANEL WILL INCLUDE (3X) 30 AMP RECEPTACLES, (4) 20 AMP QUAD RECEPTACLES. PROVIDE NEXT TO PANEL A 100-AMP NON-FUSED, 3 PHASE, DISCONNECT WITH CAM LOCKS. PROVIDE (4) NEW 50 AMP PEDESTALS AS SHOWN ON SHEET E201 EACH PEDESTAL SHALL HAVE (1) 50 AMP RECEPTACLE, (1) 30 AMP RECEPTACLE, AND (1) 20 AMP DUAL RECEPTACLE OR EQUAL TO A MIDWEST VPKJHAAT. BREAKERS IN PEDESTALS SHALL HAVE GFCI PROTECTION FOR EACH OUTLET.
3) EXISTING 200 AMP DISCONNECT WILL BE CHANGED TO A 200-AMP FUSED, 3 PHASE, NEMA 3R, COMPANY SWITCH WITH CAM LOCKS.
4) ADDITIONAL 200 AMP SERVICE MUST BE INSTALLED. THIS PANEL MUST INCLUDE (4X) 50 AMP RV RECEPTACLES ALONG THE FENCE LINE AS SHOWN ON SHEET E202. 50-AMP OUTLETS SHALL BE PROTECTED BY 2-POLE 50-AMP GFCI BREAKERS TO MEET CODE. OUTLETS TO BE EQUAL TO A MIDWEST U054C. OUTLETS SHALL BE MOUNTED TO 6" SQUARE CONCRETE POST BURIED 2' BELOW GRADE AND EXTENDING 2' ABOVE GRADE.
2- POLE BREAKERS WILL BE INSTALLED IN EXISTING CUTLER HAMMER PANEL. SEE SHEET E203 FOR LOCATION AND FEEDER SIZES.
6) ADDITIONAL POWER PEDESTAL MUST BE INSTALLED TO THE NORTH OF THE OUTERMOST PEDESTAL AT AN EQUAL DISTANCE BETWEEN THE EXISTING PEDESTALS. PEDESTAL MUST MATCH THE EXISTING PEDESTALS WITH GFCI BREAKERS, EATON LIGHTHOUSE PEDESTAL MODEL #LHSS3050. NEW 225-AMP
2- POLEBREAKERS WILL BE INSTALLED IN EXISTING CUTLER HAMMER PANEL. SEE SHEET E204 FOR LOCATION AND FEEDER SIZES.
