Description: Beaufort County hereby solicits sealed proposals to provide services for retiming of fifteen (15) existing traffic signals along the US 278 corridor and adjacent area for the County. Currently, the County uses seven (7) coordinated Time of Day (TOD) plans: AM Peak, Midday Peak, PM Peak, Saturday, Peak (seasonal) Hilton Head Island Inflow, Peak (seasonal) Hilton Head Island Outflow, and Black Friday. The County wishes to update the existing traffic responsive signal control and coordination plans for the fifteen (15) signalized intersections listed below. The work should include data collection, timing plan development, implementation, fine tuning, and system documentation. A detailed before and after study should also be performed to evaluate effectiveness.
