Maintenance of Unpaved Peach County Roads

Peach County will be accepting sealed bids until 5:00 p.m. on November 7, 2023 for the maintenance of thirty-seven (37) totaling 136,436 feet - 26.49 miles unpaved public roads. Bid specifications are on file at the Peach County Board of Commissioners office located at 213 Persons Street. To receive a copy, please contact the Commissioners' Office at (478) 825-2535.

Each sealed bid envelope must be plainly marked on the outside as "Bid for Maintenance of Unpaved Peach County Public Roads ". It should include the bidders name, address, license number, and E-Verify affidavit. Pursuant to Georgia law, no bids will be considered without an executed E-Verify affidavit. The successful bidder will be required to pay sales and use tax on materials purchased or used on this project.

All bids will be reviewed for practicality. Peach County reserves the right to accept or reject any, and all bids. Contract, if awarded, will be on an annual basis and paid monthly. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 35 days after time has been called on the date of opening. The successful bidder shall begin actual physical work no later than December 1, 2023. Successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance and payment bond of 100% of the project cost. Successful bidder must also provide a Certificate of Insurance for Statutory Workmen's Compensation, Employer's Liability Insurance, Comprehensive Automobile Liability Insurance, Georgia Soil and Water Certification, and Foreman Utility License.
