Description: The purpose of this Request for Proposal is to obtain a qualified contractor to provide for the collection and transporting of all recyclable materials from each of the County collection centers and County facilities to Athens MRF off of Olympic Drive . Overview: On September 6, 2016, the Oconee County Board of Commissioners awarded the Recyclable Material Collection and Disposal Services to Roll-Off Systems for $16.50 per tip. The alternate option was chosen and was based on the County allowing both material streams (commingled fiber and containers) to be collected simultaneously and delivered to the recycle material processor all together in the same load.
