Description: Dawson County Purchasing Department on behalf of the Dawson County Board of Commissioners is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) to solicit sealed bids from qualified vendors who specialize in construction services for a pool house for the Veterans Memorial Park, located at 186 Recreation Road, Dawsonville, GA 30534.. Detailed proposal documents are available at www.dawsoncounty.org. Questions in reference to the above IFB must be in writing to the Dawson County Purchasing Manager, Melissa Hawk at mhawk@dawsoncounty.org or faxed to 706-531-2728 before 1:00 p.m., October 27, 2017. All answers will be posted to website no later than November 2, 2017, by 3:00PM, EST on, 2017. Addenda, where applicable, will be posted in the same manner. There will be a mandatory pre-proposal meeting at 10:30AM, EST, at the small pavilion next to the playground, at the Veterans Memorial Park, at 186 Recreation Road, Dawsonville, GA 30534. Sealed proposals may be delivered to 25 Justice Way, Suite 2223, Dawsonville, GA 30534 until 10:30AM on, November 9, 2017. The outside of the shipping container/envelope must be marked with the appropriate bid number and title. Immediately following the deadline the names and bid prices of bidders will be recorded and read in the Administration Training Room at the above address. The Dawson County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any technicalities or irregularities and to award the bid based on the highest and best interests of Dawson County.
