Description: Notice is hereby given that the Escambia County Board of County Commissioners will receive sealed bids for the construction of a single-family dwelling per attached plans and written
specifications. After construction is complete, the homes will be sold to an income-qualified homebuyer. State Housing Initiative Partnerships (SHIP) funds are being used to construct a house on this property. Contractor may not be debarred from participating in Federal or State programs in order for bid to be awarded. Labor, overhead, permits, insurance, and profit must be included into each itemized price and not listed as a separate itemized price or listed under “miscellaneous.” All work performed must be inspected (rough and final) and conform to City Ordinances, State Laws, and Florida Building Code. Site plan, zoning, and curb cut approval for the provided construction plans has been issued by the City of Pensacola. Escambia County will pay for recording of Notice of Commencement in public records. Energy Sheets will also be provided to the awarded contractor by the County for pulling permits. All materials and supplies shall be installed in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions, with all work completed in accordance with industry standards for new construction.
