Question 1

Posted: 3/13/2023

Question: I notice the scope of work identified on page 8 includes asphalt patching. No quantity or indication of any quantity is included in LMIG resurfacing table on page 21. Does that mean no patching is anticipated and need not be included?

Response: Please see addendum regarding Asphalt patching

Question 2

Posted: 3/21/2023

Question: Can you provide quantities of patching on each street? Without that information, each bidder will be bidding vastly different quantities.

Response: Please see addendum regarding Asphalt patching

Question 3

Posted: 3/21/2023

Question: 1. Will side roads intersections require milling & paving or will milling & paving be straight through? 2. Is it the intent that asphalt be flush with curb after milling & paving? 3. What are hours of work?

Response: 1. All areas will need to be milled 1 & 1/8”, any deep patching areas will need to milled out to 4” and have 4” of 19mm asphalt installed. 2. Yes 3. 8:00am to 3:00pm Monday through Friday

Question 4

Posted: 3/24/2023

Question: 1. Woodpark Place and Woodpark Avenue, will a police officer be required for flagging operation at the SR 92 intersection? Deep patching appears to be marked at location marked number 1. Is this for deep patching?

Response: Traffic control will be needed near the intersection, and coordination with PD can be established if necessary. The one area marked for deep patching is from the entrance of the bowling alley to the four-way stop sign at Woodpark Pl & Woodpark Blvd.

Question 5

Posted: 3/24/2023

Question: 2. Deep Patching appears to be marked in the Santa Anita/Whirlaway streets labeled 1 through 18, are these marked areas for deep patching? If so, we could not find number 14. Was this number skipped by mistake or can you describe the location?

Response: This is near, or a little north of 414 Sherwood Drive

Question 6

Posted: 3/24/2023

Question: 3. Deep Patching appears to be marked in the Robin Hood/Friar Tuck/Sherwood/Marion streets labeled 1 through 18, are these marked areas for deep patching? If so, we could not find number 17. Was this number skipped by mistake or can you describe the location? Nottingham was not marked, does this mean no deep patching. This subdivision has no curb and gutter, will this be milled or just install 1 1/8 inches? If so will shoulder stabilization be required? If so how far back to pave drives?

Response: Yes, Nottingham drive will need to be completely milled out, shoulder stabilization is not required to my knowledge.

Question 7

Posted: 3/24/2023

Question: 4. Laurelwood has a mark on both lanes which appears to be the starting point for mill and overlay. Is this correct? If not is this the starting point for deep patching and is the whole road from there on deep patching?

Response: This is correct, both lanes measuring about 21’ will be resurfaced, and will need to be milled out.

Question 8

Posted: 3/24/2023

Question: Nocatee/Mayaca/Don Pierre/Islandora have not been marked, will there not be any deep patching in this subdivision?

Response: The Glen at Kingsgate will probably need to be entirely milled out 1-1/2”, other options can be discussed.

Question 9

Posted: 3/24/2023

Question: What is the asphalt mix requirement for this project?

Response: 9.5mm

Question 10

Posted: 3/24/2023

Question: Some of the surface measurements in Addendum 1 - Deep Patching do not equal the square footage. The inconsistency seems to be on the line items with three measurements. How is the square footage being measured on the line items with three measurements?

Response: Surface measurements were wheeled off and marked, the measurements in feet are accurate. An error may have been made converting to square feet. The areas are still marked off if more precise measurements are needed.
