Description:

The City of Doral desires to retain the services of a qualified Design/Build Contractor to design and construct the Doral Pedestrian Bridge over NW 41st Street at Homestead Extension of Florida’s Turnpike (HEFT) within the City of Doral, in Miami Dade County to include all efforts for final design and construction of a Pedestrian Bridge Facility.  The proposed pedestrian bridge will span over NW 41st Street in the vicinity of the HEFT and will provide residents and visitors a needed link between existing Turnpike Trail shared used paths north and south of NW 41st Street/Doral Boulevard, a heavily traveled arterial within the City of Doral. While this structure will facilitate pedestrian and bicyclist safety and mobility, its construction will also serve as a gateway into the City from the Florida’s Turnpike.
