Description:
a. The City of Goldsboro Parks & Recreation Department, Herman Park, Park House, located at 900 Park Ave, Goldsboro, NC 27530.
b. The project consists of exterior work including pressure washing, replacing rotten siding, demolition and replacing portions of the porch, reglazing and painting windows, repairing rodent holes, caulking and painting the building, and interior work including, painting crown molding and ceiling trim work, and removing old LVP flooring, preparing the surface and installing new LVP flooring. The contractor will be responsible for conducting the repairs in accordance with the scope of work provided.
2. EXTENT OF WORK
a. Provide all labor, material, tools, equipment, and supervision necessary to complete the work.
b. The contractor shall be fully knowledgeable of all requirements of the contract documents and shall make themselves aware of all job site conditions that will affect their work.
c. The contractor shall confirm all given information and advise the building owner, prior to bid, of any conflicts that will affect their cost proposal.
d. Project must be completed to the owner’s satisfaction, within ninety (90) calendar days after notice to proceed. Work must be continuous until complete. Work will not be allowed on weekends and holidays observed by the City of Goldsboro.
Pre-Bid Meeting Date: 11/20/2025 2:00 PM
Pre-Bid Meeting Details: a. A pre-bid conference will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at the project location of 900 Park Ave, Goldsboro, NC 27530. b. Instructions to Bidders, the bid package and specifications will be reviewed with attendees and a tour of the project area within the facility will take place. c. Contractors with an interest in this project are encouraged but not required to attend the pre-bid meeting. Contractors will be responsible for all information discussed at this meeting.
