Description: Sealed BIDS will be received by Okeechobee County Board of County Commissioners at the Okeechobee County Historical Courthouse, 304 NW 2nd Street, Room 123, Okeechobee, FL 34972 no later than 3:00pm on Wednesday June 26, 2024. Bids will be received on the first floor, Room 123, and publicly opened in Room 201 and read aloud. Any BIDS received after the time specified will not be accepted.
Okeechobee County is accepting proposals for the renovation and expansion of the infield of softball field #2 located at the OK Softball Field 950 NW 23rd Lane, Okeechobee, FL 34972. The contractor shall be responsible for all measurements, elevation estimates, required labor, machinery, materials, utility locates, permits and appurtenances necessary to complete installation of work as specified below.
A contract will be executed promptly, following the proposal’s due date and completion of the proposal evaluations. Project will proceed immediately thereafter. The project terms are thirty (30) days to substantial completion and fourteen (14) days to final punch out for a total of forty-four (44) project days.
A MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING shall be held at 3:00 pm on Wednesday June 12, 2024, at the Okeechobee County OK Softball Field, 950 NW 23rd Lane, Okeechobee, FL 34972. Bidder's attendance is mandatory. BIDS RECEIVED FROM CONTRACTORS WHO DO NOT PARTICIPATE IN THE PRE-BID MEETING WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The purpose of
the mandatory Pre-Bid meeting is to provide a site visit to the location.
Any questions pertaining to the project specifications or scope of work will be addressed to Jessica Schooley in writing to the physical or email address noted below, no later than Wednesday June 19, 2024, at 3:00pm. The final addendum will be issued on Friday June 21, 2024, by 5:00pm, if necessary.

All materials furnished and all work performed shall be in accordance with the Drawings, Specifications and Contract Documents pertaining thereto.
