The City of Raton is looking for proposals from qualified firms with professional experience and successful past performance to assist the City with the implementation of our recently awarded EPA Brownfields Program Grant. The selected consultant must also be qualified to provide programmatic assistance such as creating and implementing a community involvement plan, completing environmental assessments, creating a Raton brownfield inventory with GIS data, and developing cleanup and reuse plans for priority sites. The City of Raton primarily intends to assess and plan for remediation and cleanup of existing commercial structures that are abandoned, vacant and dilapidated in support of community and economic development goal to eliminate blight. The City of Raton will offer an Agreement for EPA Brownfield Program Services to the Offeror (or multiple Offerors) that best meets the City’s requirements.
The City of Raton shall receive one (1) original, and four (4) copies of their proposal in a sealed envelope identifying their response to RFP No. 2024-09-12 in the office of the City Clerk until 5:00 P.M., on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at the following location:

The RFP shall be available at http://www.ratonnm.gov/, or by contacting the Chief Procurement Officer. A Pre-Proposal Conference will not be held, proposers may obtain additional information by contacting Michael Anne Antonucci at (575) 445-9551. The scope of work and the criteria for selection are described in the Request for Proposals (RFP). City of Raton reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or waive any irregularities in any proposal or the proposal process.
