Question: 1. Have you purchased Aruba Central Licenses for this project already? a. Aruba Central AP licenses need to be purchased per AP b. Will we (vendors) need to do any Aruba Central configurations? c. Who will be responsible for the AP configuration d. Will School IT Staff be available to assist with the configuration and or installation questions? 2. What is the maximum Ceiling/Access Point height for each location to install? 3. Do we need to provide any patch panels? 4. Are any AP’s being installed Outdoors? 5. Are new cable runs required or are old access points being replaced in the same spots? a. Please include number of cable runs and lengths b. Will any of the cables pass through an Air Plenum? c. Do we need to run any Conduit (approximate lengths)? 6. Will the switches the AP’s are connecting to have the required PoE budget or will PoE injectors need to be quoted? How many? a. Watts used without USB device attached: PoE powered: 24W. b. Watts used with USB device attached: PoE powered: 36W. 7. Power adapters are not included with the AP’s since they run on PoE, will any power adapters need to be included? How Many? 8. Will the AP’s be connected to drop ceiling? How Many? Drop Ceiling Bar Width? 9. Will any of the AP’s connect directly to walls or other structures that could contain asbestos? 10. Is Union Labor Required 11. Will the installation need to happen outside of normal business hours or on Weekends/Holidays.

Are there any specific deadlines or completion dates we should be aware of? 2. **Firewall Requirements**: Could you clarify what is meant by 'support application level firewall with role-based policies'? Are there specific firewall configurations you expect to be implemented during installation? 3. **Ongoing Management**: Will the awarded vendor be responsible for ongoing management of the installed systems, or will the school take over management after installation? If ongoing management is required, could you outline the scope of responsibilities (e.g., updates, monitoring, troubleshooting)? 4. **Access Points Handoff**: After the access points are installed, will there be any formal handoff process (e.g., documentation or training) for school IT staff? If training is required, what format would you prefer (e.g., documentation or in-person)? 5. **Compatibility with Existing Infrastructure**: Are there any known compatibility issues or challenges we should anticipate with the existing infrastructure, such as existing Aruba Campus Gateways or other networking components? 6. **Certifications and Compliance**: In addition to the required certifications (e.g., Bluetooth SIG, Ethernet Alliance), are there any other compliance or certification requirements we should address? 7. **As-Built Documentation**: Will the awarded vendor be expected to provide detailed As-Built documentation after installation? Will on site work be expected to be performed during non school hours? 4. Does the District have a lift that can be utilized or will the vendor need to provide? 5. Can we access floor plans/fire exits etc. that show locations of MDF/IDF? 6. Will the new Access Points need Aruba Central quoted with them? If so, 1, 3 or 5 year term?
