Description:
Lumpkin County Purchasing Department is seeking qualified
firms for a design-build project for the renovation of the Old Lumpkin County
Library. The desire of the county is to turn the space into a multi-use
facility for planning and development services in our county. The successful
firm will assist the county in designing the space for open cubicles, offices,
plan room storage, conference rooms, ADA compliant restroom facilities and
exploring the installation of an elevator at the rear of the facility. The
successful firm will also handle upgrades to electrical, low voltage, HVAC,
plumbing, windows, roof, exterior door packages, exterior painting, gutter
installation, and the replacement of sidewalks around the facility as determine
through the design process. The county will provide assistance with demolition
tasks.
