Description: Notice is hereby given that Glades County, Florida, pursuant to Section 218.391, Florida Statutes, hereby request proposals from independent certified public accountants desiring to provide auditing services in accordance with generally accepted government accounting standards for its fiscal years ended September 30, 2023, through 2025, with possible extensions. The successful proposer shall provide all labor and materials required to express an opinion as to the fair presentation of the County’s basic financial statements in conformity with generally accepted accounting principles. An opinion on the fair presentation of the governmental activities, the business-type activities, any discreetly presented component unit(s), each major fund, and the aggregate remaining fund information should be expressed based upon the auditing procedures applied and in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.
