Description: The City of Murfreesboro, Tennessee is issuing a Request for Competitive Sealed Proposals (RFCSP) from qualified Respondents for administering the City’s self-insured dental Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) plan for active full-time employees and their eligible dependents, effective January 1, 2021. At this time, the City has approximately 1,300 active full-time employees (Retirees are not eligible to participate).
Delta Dental of Tennessee is the current administrator of the City’s dental PPO plan. The City currently offers Delta Dental of Tennessee’s dual network - Premier and PPO.
The City anticipates establishing the dental PPO premiums; however, the selected Respondent may be asked to recommend premiums. In Section 7.H. of this RFCSP, Respondents must indicate their willingness and capability to provide a recommendation, if requested.
