Description:

SCOPE OF WORK: The City is soliciting Professional Engineering Services with a special emphasis on sea wall design, permitting, and construction.  The selection of one consultant team will be made to design and permit the replacement sea wall at Riverfront Park.  All proposers shall be licensed to do business in the State of Florida. 

The Consultant Team will design, permit and provide as needed post design services during construction.  Phase I of the project consists of removing and replacing approximately 1,400 linear feet of sea wall along the west side of the Halifax River between Orange Avenue and International Speedway Boulevard.  The project also includes but is not limited to the design and permitting of new stormwater discharge points with backflow prevention mechanisms that will breach the new sea wall.  Consultant Team will perform civil, environmental, and geotechnical engineering services, surveying, preliminary engineering/systems analysis, engineering design, permitting, site and alternatives analysis, site inspection/evaluation, and construction inspection as needed.  Services may include, but not be limited to: preliminary engineering/systems analysis, surveying, geotechnical investigations, design development, construction plans preparation, permitting and creation of construction bid documents; Project Coordination and Administration; Design Development; Construction Documents.
