Question: Is the gas, water, sewer and electric disconnects to Building 300/400 done by the General Contractor of Bid Package 5 and therefore not included in the demolition scope of work?

Response: Utility disconnect needs to be included in current demo bid.

Question: Is all environmental work, i.e. asbestos, bulbs/ballasts, freon recovery, etc., included in the demolition scope of Bid Package 5?

Response: The District is handling all environmental work, i.e. asbestos, bulbs/ballasts, Freon recovery.

Question: Is the siltation control and perimeter fencing included in the demolition scope of Bid Package 5?

Response: Vendors need to contain the area around their work site while work is being done.

Question: It was mentioned that the demolition contractor shall sawcut and remove the tops of the under-slab utility tunnels so the asbestos contractor can abate the piping in the tunnels, has this changed after our discussions at the walk thru?

Response: No, this has not changed.

Question: In Addendum No. 1, dated January 9, 2023, 1.3 Attachments - A. 1.a. - ,General - Bidder's Question on insurance requirements addressed'; this attachment was not found in Addendum No. 1. Please advise.

Response: This was a typo within Addendum 1 dated January 9, 2023. Insurance requirements are correct within the District RFP, “GEN 23- INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS”
