Jones County School System invites qualified vendors to provide quotes for “Bus Parking and Building Improvements, Phase 2” project as described in “Electronic Request for Quotes 22-31, Phase 2 Bus Parking and Building Improvements” solicitation. PUBLIC BID OPENING ZOOM:
Vendors are instructed
to read carefully all terms, conditions, specification and requirements in this
RFQ. Vendors are required to complete and return all forms in their
entirety.
Proposals will be
submitted electronically via Vendor Registry. Instructions can be found
within the solicitation documents.
Due to the possibility of rain on Thursday, November 11, 2021 the MANDATORY pre-bid
meeting has been moved to Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at 8:00 a.m. ET sharp at JCSS
Transportation parking lot, 273 Railroad Street, Gray, GA 31032. Please
consult Vendor Registry for any rain delay issues.
Solicitations are due
by 1:00 pm on December 2, 2021. A public bid opening will take place via
zoom. Link will be posted in the solicitation.

Question: Pay Item 2 is an allowance for Quality Control Testing. Usually allowances are set by the owner/engineer prior to the bid so that all bidders include the same amount. What is the established allowance for item #2?
Response: The testing allowance will be about $7500.00.
