Description: PURPOSE: Okaloosa County (“County”), on behalf of its Airport Department, seeks a contractor to deliver two ADA Passenger Boarding Bridge Ramps designed to be utilized with aircraft types from a CRJ/ERJ 145, EMB175, 737 and A319, A320 and A321 and shall deliver all requirements under the scope of service listed below.
SCOPE OF SERVICE
• Ability to be utilized with a variety of aircraft types: from CRJ/ERJ 145, EMB175, 737 and A319 through 321.
• Shall include non-skid/anti slip walking surface. Passenger access surface to be no less than 36” wide with Non-skid, anti-slip surface coating
• Both ramps must be able to be moved by man power or by Tug, non-motorized and in a safe, uncomplicated manner to operate
• Each ramp shall be able to be deployed by man power or Tug, in under 2 minutes
• All standard safety equipment to be included
• Industrial foam filled tires or no-flat tires
• Manufacturer to provide minimum 2-year warranty on manufacturing or material defects
• 5-year warranty on Safeguard Anti-Slip walking surface
• 8,000 pound weight capacity and limit
• Brakes shall automatically lock and shall be manually unlocked
• The lowest setting shall not be lower than 72 inches and the highest setting shall not be higher than 138 inches
• The slope of each ramp shall not exceed a slope of 14 degrees on each level and shall not exceed a slope of 14 degrees for all levels in total
• Each ramp must meet F.A.A. requirements of 90 mile per hour wind gusts and 70 mile per hour sustained winds and when stowed
• Contractor shall provide on-site installation, setup and training to Airport Personnel and training costs shall be included within the total bid price. Any travel costs for contractor’s trainer personnel shall be included in the total bid price
• Total bid price shall include all shipping costs
• Shall provide maintenance/parts manual
• No deposits required before the intent to award and purchase order
The contractor will be working directly with the Airport Representative, Jamie Milton, in order to coordinate the provided setup and training to the Airport Personnel.
