CITY OF PARKLAND, FLORIDA
REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS 
  

The City of Parkland, Florida is currently requesting proposals from qualified companies to provide for the:
 

UNIVERSITY DRIVE/FIRE STATION NUMBER 97 EMERGENCY SIGNAL INSTALLATION PROJECT RFP # 2017-05
The purpose of this proposal is to obtain competitive Proposals for all material, labor and equipment to install a new mast arm system for emergency vehicle traffic control signal purposes to service Fire Station Number 97 at the Municipal Complex driveway opening. The project is located in a City of Parkland owned right of way and will require a City of Parkland Permit and final inspection and acceptance from the City of Parkland and Broward County. The final inspection must meet all of the City of Parkland and Broward County’s standards and requirements and upon passing the final inspection, must endure a 90-day burn in period.  During this burn in period, the maintenance of the signal operation, including timing adjustments, will be the responsibility of the contractor until the County issues written final acceptance of the project.
 

Sealed proposals shall be received by the Office of the City Clerk, at Sal Pagliara City Hall, 6600 University Drive, Parkland, Florida 33067, on or before 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 18, 2017, at which time and place bids will be publicly opened.  Bids received after that time will not be accepted under any circumstances. Any uncertainty regarding the time a bid is received will be resolved against the Offeror.
