The City of Avondale (the “City”) Neighborhood and Family Service Department (“NFS”) is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide First-Time Homebuyer Assistance Program ("Program").
The Program is designed to assist low‐ and moderate‐income homebuyers who are able to purchase a home based on income, credit and job history, but lack the savings to pay down payment and closingcosts. The federal funding source for the Program is the HOME Investment Partnership Program (HOME)as well possible program income from the Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP). These funds areprovided to the City by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
