Description: Notice is hereby given that the City of Athens is receiving qualifications for Engineering Services related to transportation projects to be implemented in phases and funded by both local and grant funds. Phase I of the program is currently funded through a Multi-Modal Access Grant (MMAG). The scope of the services may include but are not limited to paving, sidewalks, crosswalks, pedestrian crossing signals, retiming traffic signals, stormwater facilities, traffic calming, and road diets. The improvements are based upon several plans focusing on community mobility through the addition and betterment of pedestrian and bicycle infrastructure.
