Description:
The Jackson County Board of Commissioners will be accepting sealed bids for a fixed generator and equipment for the new Jackson County Administration Building until Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at 10:00 AM. At that time, the sealed bids will be opened and read in the Finance Director’s Conference Room of the Jackson County Administrative Building at 67 Athens Street, Jefferson, Georgia 30549. Bids received after the due date and time will not be accepted or considered.
One original and three copies of the Request for Bid must be submitted. A 5% bid bond must be submitted with the bid. Performance and payment bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price will be required if the contract is awarded.
All interested bidders must download the bid package and bid form from the Jackson County web site or at www.vendorregistrycom Contact person is Kenneth Morris, Purchasing Manager, at 706-367-4174.
Jackson County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive any technicalities or irregularities, and to award the bid based on the highest and best interest of Jackson County.
