Transportation (JCDOT) is seeking bids for cleaning catch basins on state trunk lines in Jackson County. The
length of the proposed contract will be for a 2 year term, with the option of one 1year

of this contract. The most responsive bid shall include the specifications and requirements, as stated in RFB#120JX-20

Question: What is the average length and diameter? What is the longest and largest in diameter of the tile needed to be jetted out? How large are the storm water basin and sanitary basin? Will all material be tested for hazardous? Who is responsible for determining if it may be hazardous? Do all the catch basins tile runs add utilities require traffic control? If so will traffic need to be stopped completely on one side of the road or just slowed down?
