Description: The City of Myrtle Beach is asking for bids for asphalt resurfacing of various streets throughout the City.  There will be approximately 53,498 SY of paving and 41,176 SY of milling.  Asphalt shall be compacted to a thickness of 1.5"  Milling shall be at a depth of 2 inches.  Resurfacing to be completed by May 1, 2021.  All streets will require thermoplastic for road markings.  Road markings shall match current road markings.  Temporary paint should be used for road markings after paving until thermoplastic can be installed.  Award will be based on a lump sum price for the base bid only.  The City reserves the right to add or delete roads as necessary.  Additional roads will be added or deleted based upon unit prices provided in this bid.  Bid documents are available for a non-refundable fee of $50.00.  Bid documents can be obtained at the City of Myrtle Beach Purchasing Office, located at 3231 Mr. Joe White Avenue, Myrtle Beach, SC  29577.
