Question: The bid shows the Yamaha CSP170 (no substitutes) however we are showing that unit has been discontinued. However we have the CLP735 in Black Matte available, should we bid with that unit? Also since the Pandemic, the majority of carriers no longer offer inside delivery options so we are unable to include that. Should we just not bid?
Response: The dealer says the CSP170 is not discontinued but is on backorder. See addendum for opportunity to bid an alternate and specify lead time. Inside Delivery requires bringing the item inside the building. If you are not bidding that, note that on your bid sheet.
