SCOPE
1. The purpose of this Request for Bid (RFB) is to select one (1) vendor to supply items listed in Six Specific Custodial Supplies Items RFB for the Wentzville School District.
2. This agreement is for three (3) years beginning August 1, 2019 and ending July 31, 2022. This agreement may be extended for an additional year up to two years if both parties agree and there are no price increases.

Question: What are the specs for these six items? We need brands, etc. Are substitutes allowed?
Response: All specs are outlined in the two documents. All brands must meet specs. Previews vendor was Buckeye. Gateway Liners is the brand for bags, Tork is the brand for hand towels, Terra for toilet paper. Weight will depend on what your bidding out I would not have that information. Question: Do you realize that your current paper system is proprietary and Essity, which is Tork and Terra, will not support another distributor on pricing or dispensers? If competitors cannot provide a different dispensing system, they will not be able to submit a bid.

Question: We have read the current bid specs and the questions already asked. We have a couple more questions so that we may provide a more accurate quotation. 1. On the Toilet tissue- Is it 2 ply? How many sheets per roll? What is the sheet size? We have never heard of Terra brand so we need the specifics answered. 2. On the hand towels , can you provide the Tork model number of the towel you are currently purchasing? Then we can cross reference everything. Thank you.

Question: On the toilet tissue, I can't find any information on line about it. Is it JRT 9"? Is it regular 500/2ply? Is it coreless 1000/2ply rolls? Thank you!
Response: Current Model - Terra model number (Toilet Paper) 400553 This is in the bid - ROLL TOILET TISSUE: 2-Ply. Whether it is coreless is not depends on the type of dispenser you provide on the bid. Whether it is 500 or 1000 depends on your dispenser also.
