Description:

The intent of this solicitation and resulting agreement is to obtain the services of a qualified Contractor to provide comprehensive pre-Medicare medical, vision, prescription drug, and dental benefits for County employees, retirees, their eligible dependents and COBRA participants, and to operate an onsite employee clinic. Post 65 retirees are included in dental benefits only.

Up to three (3) contracts may be awarded under this RFP.

Offerors may submit a proposal for Medical Plan Services, Dental Plan Services, or Onsite Clinic Service or any combination of services:

1.       Medical Plan Services: Self-insured pre-Medicare medical plan, prescription drug plan, vision plan, and onsite employee clinic services. Proposals must include all services related to delivering pre-Medicare medical benefits, prescription drug benefits, and vision benefits, as a bundle.

2.       Dental Plan Services. Self-insured dental plan benefits may be offered as a standalone proposal or as an additional proposal that accompanies Medical Plan Services.

3.       Onsite Employee Clinic Service: On-site clinic services may be offered as a standalone proposal or as an additional proposal that accompanies Medical Plan Services.
