Overview: Beaufort County has a Council / Administrator form of county government with eleven Council members and one County Administrator. The 340 employees of the Sheriff’s Office will not be included in this RFP. The RFP will involve approximately 40 departments, with approximately 840 full-time employees and 130 part-time employees. Of the 40 departments, 12 are under the purview of an elected / appointed official. The FY2020 County General Fund Budget is $133 million, with approximately one-half of that being allocated to salary expense (not including fringe benefits). Approximately 160 full-time employees are currently classified as exempt and the remaining 680 full-time employees are classified as non-exempt.

Amount: $39,600.00

Response: There are currently approximately 280 job titles being in our database (not including the Sheriff’s department who has their own plan).
