Description:

The purpose of this bid is to establish a contract for ditch cleaning requiring the use of a long stick and related services in conjunction with the County's requirements. This work shall take place within the county rights-of-way or easements of Okeechobee County on as needed basis.  Ditch cleaning encompasses the removal of vegetation and in some cases the excavation of excess materials to the specified depth, supplying and installing sod in limited areas designated by the County where sod is desired, the removal of all debris created by this operations and other services related to this operation.  The work shall comply with all specifications within this proposal.

Pre-Bid Meeting Details: A non-mandatory pre-proposal conference will be held on August 29, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Room 201 of the Historic Courthouse, 304 NW 2nd Street, Okeechobee, FL 37972 to discuss the special conditions and specifications included within this solicitation. Vendors are requested to bring this solicitation document to the conference, as additional copies may not be available.
