NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR BIDS

FIRE DEPARTMENT DUTY UNIFORMS

The City of Kingman is soliciting bids for the Fire Department duty uniforms.  The bid must include multi-year pricing for each item and specification.  This bid proposal must meet all of the bid specifications and requirements.  Substitution of items are not allowed but should be rather stated as “unable to attain” on the bid submittal. 

If, after the bid is awarded, an item becomes unavailable, the selected vendor will notify the City of Kingman Fire Department and a replacement item will be agreed upon.  The bid price must be total delivery price per item to include embroidery, screen-printing, and attachment of patches as applicable as well as shipping costs to City of Kingman Fire Department 412 East Oak Street, Kingman, AZ.  86401.

Please submit written / sealed bid proposal to the office of the City Clerk located at 310 North 4^th Street, Kingman, AZ. 86401.  Bids will be accepted until 3:00 pm local time on September 2, 2021.  Bids will be opened and announced at this time.  Any proposal received after 3:00 P.M. on the above stated date will be returned unopened. The outside of the proposal envelope shall indicate the name and address of the proposer, shall be addressed to City Clerk, City of Kingman, at the above address and shall be marked: “SEALED BID – “KFD21-004 Kingman Fire Department Uniforms” and shall contain one (1) original and three (3) copies of the bid proposal.

During the evaluation process, the City of Kingman reserves the right, where it may serve the City’s best interest, to request additional information or clarifications from proposers. At the discretion of the City of Kingman, firms submitting proposals may be requested to make oral presentations as part of the evaluation process.

The City of Kingman reserves the right to retain all proposals submitted and to use any ideas in a proposal regardless of whether that proposal is selected. Submission of a proposal indicates acceptance by the firm of the conditions contained in this bid proposal, unless clearly and specifically noted in the proposal submitted, and confirmed in the contract between the City of Kingman and the firm selected.

The City of Kingman may cancel the solicitation or reject any and all offers when the cancellation or rejection is in the best interest of the of the City.
