Description: The Rabun County Board of Commissioners will receive sealed bids for furnishing all necessary site work for and construction of a 60'-0" x 80'-0" metal building with all necessary utilities and exterior concrete for Tallulah Persimmon Volunteer Fire Department. Bids will be accepted at the Office of the Board of Commissioners at Suite 201, Rabun County Courthouse, Clayton, Georgia, 30525 until 3:00 PM March 28, 2018, at which time they will be opened publically. All bids must include a contractors' affidavit verifying compliance with O.C.G.A. 13-10-91 (b) (1) stating that you have registered with, is authorized to use and uses the federal work authorization program commonly known as E-Verify. The building will be constructed per plans and specifications which may be purchased from Happy Jack's Graphics and Printing, 1022 North Main Street, Clayton, Georgia, 30525. The successful bidder must show proof of one million dollars ($1,000,000.00) general liability insurance, worker's compensation, and a performance bond issued, with Rabun County as beneficiary, for double the entire project bid amount. Bidder will need to able to provide regular weekly updates of the construction progress and the remaining schedule of activities expected. Interested contractors should complete a bid application available at the Board of Commissioner's Office at the above address. Rabun County reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids.
