Description:
A mandatory pre-proposal teleconference will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at 10:00 AM EST. Interested Proposers will be sent the secured teleconference information upon request. Please send your request to Justine.buxton@randophcountync.gov .
A mandatory site walk will be on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at 9:00 AM EST. The start of the meeting will be at the Shepherd Mountain Tower located at 730 Mt. Shepherd Road Extension, Asheboro, NC 27205.
A new Countywide VHF analog single channel 3-site simulcast paging system utilizing the sites specified in this RFP. The new paging system shall be compatible with the existing VHF pagers. The Proposer shall indicate the coverage guarantee for the pager outdoors and inside 12 decibel (dB) buildings. Pager configurations shall assume a Minitor VI pager carried on the user’s belt.A mandatory site walk will be on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at 9:00 AM EST. 2. The County anticipates the use of existing VIPER sites. The proposed VIPER sites are as follows:

• Shepherd Mountain (FCC ASR#1011541), 35-45-17.0 N, 79-57-08.0 W
• Staley (FCC ASR#1272728), 35-47-53.0 N, 79-38-33.0 W
• Asheboro DOT (FCC ASR#1271731), 35-39-55.60 N, 79-49-26.4 W
• Shepherd Mountain (FCC ASR#1011541), 35-45-17.0 N, 79-57-08.0 W
• Staley (FCC ASR#1272728), 35-47-53.0 N, 79-38-33.0 W
The award of a contract under this solicitation may be paid with federal and state funding. Funding is contingent upon compliance with all terms and conditions of funding award. All Proposers and subcontractors used by Proposers shall comply with all applicable federal laws, state laws, state standards, local ordinances, regulations, executive orders, and the terms and conditions of the funding award.
