Description:
The School Board is soliciting competitive bids on behalf of the
Facility Department from qualified companies to provide and install 15 HVAC units as described herein. The scope of
work as outlined in this ITB establishes the minimum requirements to be provided by the successful bidder(s). The bidder is
responsible for all equipment to complete the project. It is estimated that the work be completed by
July 31, 2021.
Pre-Bid Meeting Date: 5/27/2021 10:00 AM
Pre-Bid Meeting Details: A Non-Mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at Franklin County Learning Center, 85 School Road, Suite One, Eastpoint, Florida 32328 on May 27, 2021 at 10:00 am. All prospective bidders are to meet at the school site in the front office and document their attendance on the conference “sign-in” sheet. Attendees and District personnel will thoroughly inspect the site, further explain the service requirements and answer any questions at that time

solicitations bid documents.

estimated construction cost? The
cost estimate of this project is $50,000.
5. Is this a Davis-Bacon Act project? If so, what other documentation is required
by the low bidder to submit in? No.
6.
Is the
contractor required to obtain Mechanical/Electrical permits? The bidder assumes full duty, obligation and
expense of obtaining all necessary licenses, permits and insurance, and shall be
fully responsible for its own negligent or willful acts or omissions.
7. Are bidders required to bring the equipment
and mechanical rooms up to code?
Yes.
8.
Is there
any requirement to secure outdoor equipment down to meet wind load
requirements? No.
9.
Can you
provide a floor plan that shows the exact locations of the indoor and outdoor
equipment that is being replaced? An
exact floor plan is not available for this project.
10.
What are
the work hours? Summer working hours
are 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday thru Thursday, normal working hours resume to
Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on August 2nd.
