Description: This timber sale is a logger-select thinning within 23-year-old planted longleaf stands. There are approximately 201.4 acres of thinning. The thinning shall be third row thin with selection. Within the leave rows remove diseased, defective, and suppressed trees to achieve a density of 130 trees per acre. The District estimates the volume of timber conveyed in this Agreement to be 160 tons of pine mulch, 3,700 tons of pine pulpwood, but there is no guarantee that the volume is present.
