Description: The Okaloosa County Purchasing Department is requesting bids for construction materials that will be
received by and paid for by Habitat for Humanity Okaloosa, funded through an Okaloosa County
ARPA grant, to construct a home within the local community. An Excel spreadsheet with specified
construction materials is included within the solicitation as Exhibit “A”. The total cost of the project is
estimated at $70.935.73, partial bids for a majority of the construction materials will be considered.
There are no commitments to brand names for the construction materials any materials that cannot be
provided can be marked as N/A.

Question: Item #19 and #20 under the Air Conditioning Materials list are misleading. The #19 Flex Duct does not list the size of the flex and #20 lists the size as 9 but there is no 9in flex in the materials. Are these meant to be 6in Flex Duct and 6in collars? Line #12 is asking for a 14SEER2 2.5T 2stage. The only 2stage equipment I have is 17.2 Seer2 equipment. Line #28 , is that snaplock (metal pipe duct) or a metal truckline? Need clarification on that part.
