Description: Calhoun County Road Department (CCRD) is seeking bids for 100% organic pre-wetting liquid in non-diluted form. Alternate product A shall be a 32% Liquid Calcium Chloride. Alternate product B shall include a detailed description of the vendors proposed product to Organic Additive – Beet Juice. The length of the proposed contract will be for one (1) year from date of award, with the option to extend the contract for one (1) year if mutually agreed upon by both parties. Bid prices shall remain firm for the course of this contract.

Question: Good Morning Sherri, In looking at the bid specifications, I don't see the the link to Alternate Product A which would be the 32% Liquid Calcium Chloride for us to complete our bid proposal. Thank you in advance for your help. Jim Gregor - Corrigan Environmental Solutions
Response: Thank-you for your question. Are you requesting a chemical make up of the 32% Calcium Chloride? Please advise. 9/14/2022: Below is the final response to your proposed question. • Calhoun County cannot and will not qualify any product prior to a submission of a bid. • The contract will be awarded to the most responsible proposer whose proposal conforming to this solicitation will be most advantageous to the County; price and other factors considered. • The County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals and to waive informalities and irregularities in proposals or proposal procedures, and to accept any proposal determined by the County to be in the best interests of the County, even though not the lowest proposal.
