Question 1
Posted: 7/18/2022
Question: Could you define "reel type rotary mowers"? Just need to make sure we're talking about either a reel mower, or a rotary mower for accurate pricing. Thank you!
Response: We have already responded to this question. Please see the public solicitation.
Question 2
Posted: 7/20/2022
Question: Under Turf Management, 3.2.5 Fire Ant Control, it mentions a yearly application to control Fire Ants. On the Bid Breakdown Sheet, it has an annual frequency of "5", 1 every other month starting in February through October. Should we account for just 1 annually?
Response: 3.2.5 Fire Ant Control - The specifications require “yearlong control”. It is up to the contractor to provide control of fire ants throughout the year and should anticipate any surges in infestation and be able to respond with a bait or control product(s). There are some products that can achieve this in one application. Other products may require several applications.
