Description: SPEC-1 General Scope
1. The purpose of this Request for Bid (RFB) is to establish purchasing for eleven (11) pieces of kitchen equipment.
2. Substitutions are not permitted.
3. Final price shall include delivery to one location.
4. Equipment will ship to one location with a dock: 101 Support Service Dr., Wentzville, MO 63385
5. Bidders must fill out the Price Breakdown (Spec 3) and upload through Vendor Registry.
6. Bidders must upload a PDF specification sheet for each piece of equipment through Vendor Registry.
7. The awarded vendor(s) will coordinate all shipping and receiving of the equipment with the Director of Child Nutrition.
8. This is not a Prime Vendor Bid.

Question: Good Morning, The True Reach-In Solid Half Swing Door SS Refrigerator Model# TS-23-2-HC has been discontinued. Is there an alternative model that the district would consider? I have an alternate Model with the same dimensions, voltage, and features but it is 1/4" wider. Would this be acceptable? Also, Will the district be awarding this bid as an all or none bid or will they be awarding by line item? Please advise at your earliest convenience.
Response: This is not a Prime Vendor Bid. We will accept an alternate product on this piece of equipment, however, it must have the same dimensions and voltage.

Question: In response to your answer" It must have the same dimensions and voltage" The Unit Specified True Model# TS-23-2-HC has been DISCONTINUED and is No Longer Being Produced. Therefore there isn't anything in the exact same dimensions. The Closest I could find for an alternate was the same except for one measurement which was the units width being an .25 inches (1/4 inch) wider than Spec'd May you please check with your team and verify if these dimensions are correct/acceptable?

Question: Hi - The Alto Shaam combi will require a water filter. Is there a filter already in place? This is a counter unit. Do you need a stand? Are we to supply a gas hose for the unit or is that by others? Do you need any of the cleaning supplies? Lastly, will installation be taken care of by the district?
