Description:

This is a Construction Manager / General Contractor At-Risk project with a Guaranteed Maximum Price. 

The Project generally consists of construction of approximately 3,500 linear feet of two-lane public roadway consisting of a rural typical section, a roundabout, and associated culverts.  The proposed road way will connect either ends of the existing roadways known as Bishop Farms Parkway.  Including required guardrail, street trees, multi-use trail, water and sanitary sewer improvements, and erosion, sedimentation, and pollution control measures and monitoring.  

Upon award of the bid, the contractor will provide Pre-Construction Services in aide of the Engineer to assist in providing constructability and value engineered solutions and participating in the permitting of the project. 

The build portion of this project will consist of constructing the final design of the roadway improvements to complete the project.

Pre-Bid Meeting Details: A mandatory pre-submittal meeting will be held at 10:00 AM EST on Tuesday, December 03, 2019 at the Oconee County Board of Commissioners, 23 N. Main Street, Suite 205, Watkinsville, Georgia 30677. All interested parties are required to attend. The purpose of this meeting is to allow potential bidders an opportunity to present questions to staff and obtain clarification of the requirements of the RFP document. Because Oconee County considers such a meeting to be critical to understanding the RFP requirements, attendance at the pre-submittal meeting is mandatory to qualify.
