Question 1
Posted: 2/7/2024
Question: The RFP indicates that proposals and addenda should be returned to the attention of Felicia Hulsey at the physical address of the District and not submitted through Vendor Registry. We just wanted to confirm this and determine how many physical copies of the proposal the District would like? Also, can the District please clarify what is meant by the reference to being self-insured through a consortium "Grandfathered" Medical/Prescription on page 2 of the RFP? Does this mean that the District has maintained grandfather status from an ACA perspective? Thank you for these clarifications.
Response: Yes
Question 2
Posted: 2/9/2024
Question: 1. Can you expand on Employee/Community medical clinic(s) and current services being provided for employees/families at WSD (range of services, clinic vendor, current annual costs for this program, integration with the Anthem medical/pharmacy plan today)? What is the expectation of your broker/consultant with regards to these services? 2. What is the optimal participation for Open Enrollment meetings from your broker/consultant? 3. Can you clarify your current offerings for retirees' coverage today? Describe the support you would desire from your broker/consultant going forward? 4. With regard to the following administration services (FSA, H.S.A., COBRA, ACA, HRA, Benefit Administration Services, Consolidated Billing) is the district's preference to be handled by a 3rd party firm or the broker/consulting firm? 5. As stated on question 10 under Analysis and Fiscal Management section, can you provide more detail on the current Employee Advocacy Services offered? Who provides these services to the employees of the district currently?
Response: We have already responded to this question. Please see the public solicitation attachment.
Question 3
Posted: 2/9/2024
Question: Will leaving the CSD insurance trust impact the price or terms of your medical clinic, or will you be able to continue with your current clinic under the same terms? Do you want your new consultant to find an alternative clinic? How many school board meetings per year do you anticipate your consultant will attend? Are your open enrollment meetings in person or online? Approximately how many enrollment meetings do you have each enrollment? How do you pay your current advisor? Commission, Fee or Both? Will you share how much your current consultant makes from advisory services on your account?
Response: We have already responded to this question. Please see the public solicitation attachment.
