Description: The City of Fort Walton Beach, Florida (“City”) is seeking proposals from authorized golf cart manufacturers or distributors to meet the City’s need for golf carts with an automatic battery filling system for its two 18-hole golf courses located at 1955 Lewis Turner Boulevard. SCOPE: The successful proposer will provide golf carts with an automatic battery filling system as outlined in this RFP. Proposer agrees to furnish the City One-Hundred, Twenty-five (125) new two-passenger, four-wheel electric golf carts with chargers, and up to four (4) gasoline powered utility carts to be delivered to the City of Fort Walton Beach Golf Club at 1955 Lewis Turner Blvd, Fort Walton Beach, FL. by August 1, 2016. Bid includes service component and lease component. The City will consider three financing options under an operating lease: 2.2.2.1 Thirty-Six month option commencing on August 1, 2016 and ending July 31, 2019. 2.2.2.2 Forty-Eight month option commencing on August 1, 2016 and ending July 31, 2020. 2.2.2.3 Other time frame not to exceed 48 Months, beginning August 1, 2016.
