Question: How many switches are needed for each IDF and MDF?
Response: A link to the parts list is below. This gives a total number of switches and Access points as well as other items specific to Cisco to accomplish stacking. Please note, that if you are responding with a different product and you feel that you can cover the location with fewer access points, you may adjust that number but please provide a heat map showing how you would lay the network out. This school has 1 MDF and 4 IDF's in the school and 1 IDF in a planned concessions stand for a total of 5 IDF's. Response: Per section 6.1.2 - You may offer up equivalent product or solutions to what is listed below. The intent of this statement is to allow you to respond with other manufacturers.
