Description:
Alabama A&M University (“University”) is seeking bids from qualified vendors to provide office paper to the University for one (1) calendar year from the notice of bid award. Alabama A&M University reserves the right to terminate a contract for cause or convenience at any time.
The awarded vendors must follow Federal and State of Alabama laws and Alabama A&M University policies and procedures throughout the duration of the contract.
If proposing an equal for review by University personnel to be considered an approved equal, please provide the brand name, serial number, and any other uniquely identifying vendor product information.

However, this incident was regarded as a minor irregularity according to AG's Opinion 97-00281 so as not to defeat the responsiveness of the lowest bidder. The forms where Interstate & Associates did not initially submit documentation with a public notary's signature and official seal include the State of Alabama Disclosure Statement and E-Verify Forms. The vendor's W-9 provided in the bid submission did not provide the Employer Identification Number (EIN). After the bid opening, it was requested of the vendor to submit these aforementioned forms completely, the vendor was responsive in providing the forms as seen attached.
