Overview: This Addendum No. 1 to RFP 2025-114 is issued by the City of Beaufort Finance Department. Except as modified by this addendum, all areas of the RFP not specifically mentioned in or affected by this addendum, shall remain unchanged.

1. What company is currently providing health insurance to the City? SC Blue Cross & Blue Shield.
2. What company is the currently providing benefits brokerage services? NFP is the current broker.
3. When is the contract for medical (BCBS) expected to be awarded and transition to begin? April.
4. What is going well? Everything seems to be going well including renewals.
5. What is the current number of employees? Approximately 180.
6. Is the City fully insured? Yes.
7. Are there any retirees receiving coverage benefits? There are 3-4 but the City no longer offers retiree coverage.
8. Are all departments covered including police and fire? Yes.
9. Is the enrollment platform maintained by the broker? Yes.
10. Does the City offer wellness activities? Yes.
11. What are the monthly premium amounts for the following lines of coverage?
