Question 1

Posted: 7/18/2024

Question: 1. Should the first description say 15w-40 instead of W40? 2. For the antifreeze, are you looking for 50/50 or concentrate? 3. On the ww fluid, would a -20 degree product work? The description says -25, so I just wanted to make sure. 4. It seems like the only form that a lubricant vendor would fill out is Page 3. We don’t typically fill out project/subcontractor forms. Which forms would you like filled out and submitted back to you?

Response: 1.Yes 15w40 2. Antifreeze either way 3. Washer fluid -20 is fine 4. correct 5. The specification form with the your quoted prices, bid proposal form, and everify form.

Question 2

Posted: 7/23/2024

Question: Is the CK4 W40 HD Oil supposed to be a straight 40W? Normally we see this as a multi viscosity of 15W40. Are the anti-freeze drums a 50/50 blend or concentrate?

Response: 15/40 Anti freeze can be either way as long as you specify which one.

Question 3

Posted: 7/24/2024

Question: Does the full synthetic need to meet dexos1 spec?

Response: No it does not.

Question 4

Posted: 7/24/2024

Question: Should I just skip the forms for the subcontractors and/or any forms that don't apply to a lube bid? Which forms do you need filled out?

Response: Subcontractor forms are not needed. The specification form with the your quoted prices, bid proposal form, and everify form.
