Question: #1. Project specifications states 120 calendar days for completion and IFB project summary states 90 calendar days for completion. Please clarify #2. Will any plans or details be provided showing concrete reinforcing members. #3. Will area be designated prior to bid time, where gravel & dirt are to remain onsite? #4. Will there be a curb required to be poured along the perimeter at existing fence line? $5. Is there any objection to using metal key-way for control joints vs saw cutting control joints? #6. Will a land disturbance permit be required?

Response: 1. the project shall be completed within 120 days after issuance of Notice to Proceed 2. No plans or drawings are available for reinforcing members; industry standards are to be followed. 3. Yes, on-site material retainment will be identified approximately 100 yards from the project location. 4. No curbing will be required along the perimeter. 5. Metal keyway for control joints is acceptable if the material is galvanized for corrosion concerns. 6. No land disturbance permit will be required.

Per Page 8 of the RFP: “The successful bidder shall secure and pay for necessary approvals, permits, assessments, and changes required for the construction and installation of this project as required by local, state, and federal regulations. 2. Is there a geotechnical report available for the project? 3. What thickness of GABC will be required?

Response: There was a Stormwater permit but that is already in place. No other permits are necessary. There is no geotechnical report available UPDATED RESPONSE: There was a Stormwater permit but that is already in place. No other permits are necessary. There is no geotechnical report available The contractor shall excavate material to proper grade and achieve a 98% compaction for a 7” concrete pour. The contractor shall excavate material to proper grade and compaction as to allow for proper depth and thickness of Graded Aggregate Base (GAB), compacted to 98% and 7” concrete slab.
