Question 1

Question: 1.) Please confirm the ITB is to deliver to the site a new 200kW NG Kohler Generator and (2) Kohler ATS but does not include installation of the new equipment. 2.) Please state the install location of the (2) ATS so we can determine which NEMA rating is applicable for the pieces of ATS equipment. Please copy Casey.clark@jbouchard.com in responses
Response: 1. The delivery of the equipment to the job site does not require installation at this point. The installation will be performed by the GC during construction. Subject to the level of progress during construction at the time of delivery, the Owner will store the generator in the apparatus bay or other location they choose on site until such time that it is installed by the GC. 2. For the Nema ratings, please refer to the Partial Riser Diagram, page 18 of the bid documents. To further clarify, the ATS equipment will be installed adjacent to the generator within the protected generator enclosure.

Question: Can Cummins be added to acceptable manufacturers?
Response: Because the Owner has a working and service contract with Kohler, no additional generator brands are to be considered by the Owner. It is the Owner that has mandated the brand they will accept.
