Hearne Independent School District is soliciting competitive sealed proposal for an Executive Director. 

Desired Qualifications, Experience, and Certifications:

• Doctorate Degree in Education or other related field

• At least five (5) years of Educational Leadership, Administrative or Management experience in the fields of education or related field.

• Campus, Early College High School and/or Central Administrative Experience

• TTESS/TPESS Certified

• Registered or Authorized Board Training Provider

• Expert in his/her field. Advance knowledge of the new state accountability and interventions system.

• Demonstrated successful experience and support of campuses through the continuous improvement process to Met Standard (TAIS/ESF).

• Ability to problem solve, ascertain key variables needed for school turnaround and offer solutions.

• Ability to analyze data, interpret data, assess needs and make targeted recommendation.

• Ability to work collaboratively with boards including presenting data to board and stakeholders

• Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and personnel.

• Knowledge of how to build peer support for strategies, initiatives and redesign activities.

• Excellent communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills

Submitted proposals must be received in a sealed envelope and the envelope must be marked Proposal for Financial Business Officer in the lower left hand corner.  Proposals must be sent to Erica Duplechain, Director of Finance and Business, 900 Wheelock St., Hearne, Texas 77859 and received prior to 4:00 p.m., October 5, 2018. Proposals will be opened at that time and location.  Hearne ISD reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals.
