Description:
The Torrance Unified
School District is seeking competitive proposals for Property, Liability, and
Worker’s Compensation Insurance Broker services.
The award of a contract,
if made by the District, will be based on the District’s assessment of
qualifications pursuant to the following criteria. The District will review
responses and contact Service Provider(s) on a rolling basis as it deems
necessary and appropriate. The District reserves the right to accept one or
more proposals. Any selection will be based upon the best interest of the
District. Please see the attached Request for Proposal for more information.
The primary point of
contact for this RFP is Richard Vazquez, Director, Purchasing &
Communication Services. Proposals in response to this RFP are due by 3:00:00 PM
(Pacific Time) on March 25, 2021, via Vendor Registry at https://vendorregistry.com
The Torrance Unified
School District Purchasing Department is located at 2334 Plaza Del Amo,
Torrance, CA 90501. Respondents are required to submit their proposals online
via Vendor Registry in the order that is outlined in Section F below. Original
signatures will be required upon notification of the District’s intent to award
a contract.
The Torrance Unified School District serves approximately 23,000 students and employs approximately 1,800 full-time employees and 800 part-time employees. The District also owns 34 school facilities, 4 athletic stadiums, 1 aquatic center, and 2 maintenance service facilities. The District’s approximate gross acreage is 432 and the total building square footage is approximately 2,580,000.
